# Data quality and freshness

> Interpret listing evidence without overstating certainty.

## Prices

Search results report displayed listing prices. A listing that accepted a best offer may not reveal the final paid amount. Do not label displayed prices as verified transaction prices, seller revenue, or accepted offers.

## Dates

Search sale dates are source-reported and unverified. Retrieval time indicates when SoldFetch obtained a response; it is not the sale time. Verified date windows and sale-date filters are unavailable. Preserve returned warnings and quality flags when storing or summarizing results.

## Identity and ranking

`exactMatch=true` excludes explicitly marked loose matches. It does not verify model, bundle, accessories, condition, or product identity. Price sorting does not guarantee verified price-plus-shipping order. Inspect relevant listing fields before computing comparisons.

## Freshness

Store retrieval timestamps alongside item IDs, marketplace, currency, condition, and the raw observation. A cached result is still a charged successful request. A change in listing evidence is an observation, not proof of a sale or revenue change.
